# Timestamped transcript locator acceptance The local extractor now accepts WebVTT (`.vtt`) and SubRip (`.srt`) inputs and emits timestamped cue blocks while preserving the original cue text and character-offset mapping. Transcript locators carry the cue's start and end milliseconds in addition to the quote span. Proposal validation rejects a locator when its cue timing does not exactly match the cited extraction block. The selected-file connector infers transcript provenance for these formats; an explicit provenance label is included in its retry identity. The evidence citation view displays transcript cue timing; a frontend reader test asserts the rendered range for a transcript citation (`web/src/shell/App.test.tsx`). Unit tests cover VTT and SRT timestamp parsing, exact offsets, malformed and reversed cues, proposal acceptance for a matching cue, rejection for a shifted cue, connector media types, and transcript provenance (`tests/adapters/test_text_extractor.py`, `tests/domain/test_validation.py`, `tests/api/test_stdio_connector.py`). Generated JSON schemas, catalog, OpenAPI and TypeScript types were refreshed. Pack contract snapshot and hashes are refreshed with GEWU 0.10.0. This verifies synthetic WebVTT/SubRip fixtures and the local implementation. Supplied NotebookLM export examples, real-world transcript fixtures and timestamp accuracy in the pilot source path remain open; the declared NotebookLM provenance option does not authenticate or qualify an export. Windows/macOS support and native-host workflows also remain unverified.
